Position Overview

The qualified candidate has experience in a variety of areas including Corporate Archiving, Taxonomy and Metadata Development, Information Governance, Project Management and Digital Asset Management best practices and strategy workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, content creators, and clients to champion a corporate-wide program to create, develop, and execute archival/RM/DAM initiatives
  • Recommend and execute archival best practices in acquisition, curation, arrangement, description, preservation, and access
  • Coral content from disparate sources to create a single source of corporate truth
  • Accelerate SME brand expertise and management
  • Manage a variety of archival materials, media and digital formats
  • Coordinate high priority projects that deliver on time sensitive deadlines
  • Supervise teams to execute digitization projects and archival/DAM maintenance
  • Develop policy and procedures based on industry, archival/DAM, and client based standards
  • Communicate strategic ROI and measured results related to user experience, processing, research and accessibility
  • Identify, align, and translate business goals with overall corporate archival/DAM initiatives

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Understanding of various technology tools and the ability to translate and communicate with IT and stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills in project management and program training
  • Manage new content acquisitions and normalize metadata
  • Ability to recommend and execute user permissions and access
  • Fulfill research requests and access compliant content
  • Provide maintenance support of established and proven workflows
  • Strategize and optimize the value of archival content across business units
  • Build relationships with upper management, creative agencies, and departmental entities

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years professional Archival/DAM experience
  • Degree in Library/Information Science, Corporate Archives, Communications, Marketing, Project Management, related field, or professional experience equivalent
  • Expertise in prioritizing and curating large physical and digital collections
  • Expertise in taxonomy structures, governance, variable metadata access points, curation, access, and content lifecycle management best practices
  • Expertise with various rich media, archival content, and design software formats
  • Collaborating to develop policy and procedures to support corporate-wide initiatives
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate and communicate business requirements, metrics, and ROI
  • Expertise strategizing and customizing solution standards based on industry, DAM, and client- based needs
  • Experience supervising small onsite and virtual teams
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients on projects across departments
  • Ease in working in fast paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment

Desired Skills

  • Anniversary/Milestone projects and programming
  • Understanding of varied and high regulated industry sector content, including but not limited to, financial, entertainment, CPG, and food
  • Experience working with PIM, MAM, or related systems preferred
  • An understanding of content usage rights, restrictions and licensing
  • Basic understanding of RM principals and best practices
  • Experience in enterprise digital asset management as both a tool and a workflow approach
  • The ability to strategize monetization and repurposing of rich media and legacy assets
