The Data Analyst has a technical mind and enjoys wrangling data as a member of the Parts Web Content team. Data Analyst is an expert with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Access used to prepare large product data sets for import/ingestion into Product Information Management systems for catalog distribution into the supply chain. The Data Analyst is comfortable manipulating, editing and auditing large data sets that create, edit, delete or augment new or existing product parts data records. Data Analyst is part of a collaborative team who works well cross-functionally internally within the company and across the company’s international regional divisions. Must have knowledge of and experience with ETL (extract-transform-load) procedures to update destination systems based on priorities and deadlines.

Required Skills:
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, Excel VLookups, and SharePoint administration.
• Experience creating, editing and using VBA macros. Visual Basic programming or familiarity with mark-up/coding languages.
• Familiarity and comfort with wrangling large data sets that have breadth and depth
• Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in an array of applications, tools and systems
• Professional external and internal communication with peers, supervisors, and cross-departmental stakeholders
• Clearly and concisely communicate ideas, concerns, and give and receive constructive feedback
• Keen focus on problem-solving, developing solutions and automation that result in efficiencies and continuous improvement in team workflows
• Expert time management and prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all product data sources into tab-delimited Excel spreadsheets and compress files for weekly imports into the Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
• Audit for part data type updates such as re-parent, part type changes, additional market releases to new or existing parts.
• Perform weekly Excel data import and load into destination systems, STEP and PartSmart PIM systems. Monitor import error report and fix errors or escalate when necessary.
• Copy and import Accessories web data content and maintain relationship of approved content files
• Analyze, audit, copy and import Warranties and maintain reference documentation
• Collaborate with internal team on Warranty launches and data distribution pushes
• Maintain SharePoint websites including sub-site for workflow/project management, making additions and deletions to pages
• Run translation application and assign to parts data for Spanish, Russian and Portuguese languages
• Good, Better, Best database maintenance, assignment and auditing of GBB Rankings
• Collaborate with internal company world regions to assist with data content management
• Coordinate translation approval with PIM data team to facilitate the ingestion of translated content
• Develop workflows and processes for identifying new translation needs
• Develop new QA process for English language data changes that will necessitate new translation.
