The Challenge
An old system, tribal knowledge, scattered content, and format-centric departments were keeping our client from understanding their content in depth. They approached us with several objectives in mind: migration from the old system to a new system; a full audit of what content they are managing; enhanced workflows to consolidate current content and capture new content; and increased levels of service to departments, groups and agencies throughout the organization.
Our Approach
Allied Vaughn created a core team of specialists that worked with our client to define workflows and establish a standard of service that had been missing. Once process and workflows had been designed, Allied Vaughn deployed the required expertise to implement and manage our client’s content. Additionally, we determined what information should migrate from their legacy systems, what information would enhance the content, and assisted in the data migration to the new system.
The Outcome
Deploying an Allied Vaughn service team and using new DAM tools, our client has raised the level of service, consolidated and organized their content, reduced the hard and soft costs of the archive, and greatly enhanced the value of the collection.
